KUCHING: Faridah Osman Adenan was elected as the new president of the Kuching Melanau Association at its Triennial General Meeting (TGM) held at Wisma Melanau here on Saturday (Feb 19).

Other members of the newly elected exco committee for 2021-2024 are Dr Anthony Valentine Laiseh as vice president, John Ling Jirid Tira and Hardi Keli as vice presidents 1 and 2, Robin Junang (secretary general)   Eliza Diana (assistant secretary general), Mordiah Ali (honorary treasurer) and Tres Taki (assistant honorary treasurer).

Other members of the exco committee are Galidas Galau, Normala Meliki, Neng Fazila Roya, Yusarima Dedo, Hippolinus Hipni Mun and Francis Uling Majoi.

“Congratulations to those who have won and been appointed as PMK Exco 2021-2024. To those who failed, you try again at TGM 2024 later.

“I would also thank the 2018-2021 exco line-up who have successfully implemented several activities and programmes before.

“May the Kuching Melanau Association continue to thrive and excel,”said secretary general of the association, Robin Junang.
