KUCHING: Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah has expressed her appreciation to Wan Madihi Wan Salleh for his contribution as chairman of the Committee on Drug and Substance Abuse in the Workplace, under the governance of the state-level One Stop Committee (OSC) on addressing drug and substance abuse (MIDS), in his capacity as National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) Sarawak director since 2018.

“During this period, Wan Madihi has led AADK Sarawak and the OSC MIDS committee under him with outstanding achievements,” said the Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister in a statement today (April 29).

She said as a result of 2,036 operations which were frequent, integrated, and effective throughout all districts in Sarawak, a total of 4,373 arrests involving drug and substance abuse activities had been successfully recorded since 2014.

“On behalf of the state OSC MIDS committee, I wish Wan Madihi success in his new assignment,” she said.
