Fazzrudin suitable as Chief Political Secretary to CM

KUCHING: Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman fulfils the necessary criteria which makes his recent appointment as Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister very apt.

This was pointed out by Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah who congratulated Fazzrudin on his appointment.

“I can see that he has performed very well in the recent as well as the previous state general elections. He is very analytical and knows how to read the ground well in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN). These are some of the important criteria that makes a good political secretary.

“I am very sure with this appointment, he will be able to manage the pool of political secretaries under him well and look after Sarawak by giving good feedbacks to the chief minister,” he said.

He said this after launching the Beccari’s Rattan Valley trail at Kubah National Park on Saturday.

Abdul Karim stated that Fazzrudin’s achievements and involvements would surely inspire Sarawak youth.

“He used to be a state athlete and, among others, he is the Kuching City Football Club (KCFC) chairman as well as the advisor of Sarawak Volunteers. We can see that he is actively involved with the youth.

“Our chief minister can see potentials in Fazzrudin. The ministry is eager to work  more closely with him,” he added.
