TARAT: Feedback from youth on their aspirations for the future is important as they are the next in line to lead Sarawak, says Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn.

A programme was held by the Tarat assemblyman for youth in his constituency at Dewan Sub Parish St Mathew Mundai here last Sunday (Aug 23).

The programme involved youth from three zones of Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (Saberkas) namely Simpok Zone, Patung Zone and Tijirak Zone.

According to Sagah, the event was held to engage with, and collect feedback from the youth regarding their aspirations.

The same programme also provided an opportunity for youth to express their views, thoughts, suggestions and questions directly to Sagah as the people’s representative in the Tarat constituency.

Sagah, who is also Assistant Native Land Development Minister, presented a special allocation worth RM50,000 to five recipients at the event.

They were St Clement Chapel, Kampung Mundai Rela, SK St Peter Simpok, Kampung Sinjok Village Development and Security Committee, and St Jerom Catholic Chapel Ladies Guild, with each receiving RM10,000.
