PUSA: Work to repair a portion of the Sungai Krian ferry that was damaged is expected to be carried out next month.
Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development (Infrastructure Development) Aidel Lariwoo said, currently the technical committee of the Public Works Department (PWD) is evaluating the proposal papers submitted by the contractor.
He added that the third meeting of the technical committee will be held this Friday.
Following the damage that occurred ferry operations have to stop if the water recedes, thus making ferry schedules dependent on tide conditions.
