KUCHING: Sarawak Islamic Council has announced few procedures for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha.
The festive will be celebrated by Muslims on this Sunday (July 10).
In a circular released yesterday, procedures such as Takbir Mursal that are not tied towards the prayer establishment will begin on July 9 during Maghrib which is during the eve (night) of Raya and will end on the day itself which is Takbiratul Irham for Raya Aidiladha prayers.
The Takbir Muqayyad which will begin on July 9 and it is a takbir every time Fardu prayer is done with and it will end on July 13 during Asar prayer.
The Aidiladha Sunat prayer will begin on the day of the festive celebration and will end on the same day during Zuhr prayer.
As for the establishment of the Qurban, it also begins on the day of the festival and two rakat prayers will also be established with the estimate of 20 minutes after the sunrise.
The afdal time would be after performing the sunat prayer and it will end on July 13 after sunset.
