SIBU:  A total of 34 longhouses in the Dudong constituency received financial contributions and public address system (PA system) at a ceremony held at Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong branch office here, recently.

The contributions have been promised during a Gawai visit a few months ago.

During the function, SUPP/BN potential candidate for Lanang, Kelvin Kong said that BN would fulfil all its promises.

“The contributions were just a starting point to help and lighten the people’s burden in the rural areas. Apart from that, the assistance in the form of development projects in the rural areas would also be given, especially if BN can wrest back the Lanang parliamentary seat in the coming general election,” he said.

Hence, Kelvin advised the people to distribute the contribution through the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK).

He also urged the people to give their fullest support and cooperation for the sake of change and continuous development in the Lanang area.
