PADAWAN: A village hall at Kampung Petung here caught fire early Sunday morning (May 30).
A spokesman from the State Fire Department operations centre said firemen from the Siburan station were despatched to the scene after a distress call on the incident was received at 3.45 am.
The firemen arrived to find that the fire had caused about 30 percent damages to the hall.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
The firemen went back to their station at 4.25 am after putting out the flames.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet.
