SIMUNJAN: An empty health clinic block was completely destroyed in a fire at Jalan Pasar Simunjan, on Wednesday (Sept 16).
According to the State Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Department, a team of firefighters from Simunjan BBP was immediately dispatched to the scene after a distress call on the incident was received around 8.29pm.
“The firefighters arrived to discover one out three blocks of the clinic was on fire.
“The firefighters successfully extinguished the fire and saved the other two blocks, while the other was destroyed,” the statement said.
No casualities were reported and the operation ended around 9.58pm.
