BAU: Two vehicles were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Segong on Monday (Sept 28).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre received a distress call at 12.09am and deployed firefighters from Bau fire station to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found two burning vehicles — a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle and a car — parked side by side.
The firefighters successfully extinguished the flames at 1am.
Both vehicle owners were also present. They rushed to the scene after finding out their vehicles were on fire.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
