Fire makes 13 people homeless

MUKAH: Thirteen people from two families were made homeless when fire destroyed two houses at Kampung Tutus Hilir at 5 pm on Thursday.  

Fortunately, there were no casualties. All the residents from Abu Bakar’s house was able to save themselves by jumping down from the kitchen verandah while residents from Roslan Salleh’s house was at work when the fire broke out.

The Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) from Kampung Tutus Hilir Mukah has launched Tabung Derma Kilat Kebakaran to collect donations for the affected victims.
