KUCHING: Eight families affected by a factory fire in the Bintawa Industrial Estate here on Sept 10 have received financial assistance from Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas here on Friday.
Also chipping in to assist them were Betong MP Datuk Robert Lawson Chuat and former deputy chief minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu.
Members of the eight families are workers at one of the factories affected by the fire. They are also from the Bukit Saban constituency.
