MIRI: A four-foot-long cobra paid an unwelcome visit to a house at Lorong Julau 3, Medical Store Road on Monday (Dec 28).
The central fire station despatched firefighters to the scene after receiving a distress call around 8.10am.
The team arrived to find the reptile inside a toilet.
The firefighters managed to capture the cobra with a special tool and secured the scene within 10 minutes.
The reptile was later released far from the residential area.
