LIMBANG: Four firefighters freed a two-year-old girl who had been accidentally locked inside a car on Monday (Feb 14).

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at around 12.49pm, and firefighters were dispatched to the location, the parking lot of Limbang Hospital.

They used an iron wire to unlock the vehicle. The operation took several minutes and the toddler was unharmed throughout the ordeal.

She was later handed over to her relieved mother.
