BINTULU: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) here assisted a man off the ledge of a three-storey shophouse in Bintulu Central on Tuesday (Mar 7).
A Bomba spokesman said the man in his 30s, was seen clinging outside the window of a rented room around 4 pm and firemen from Bintulu station were deployed to the scene.
On arrival, the team managed to calm the victim down and persuaded him to go back in the room.
The victim was then handed over to the police for further action.
