SRI AMAN: Pan Borneo Highway construction company Naim Gamuda (Naga) JV Sdn Bhd welcomes public feedback on the Lebuhraya Borneo Utara (LBU) project.

According to its Quality, Safety, Engineering and Technical manager Captain (B) Hareedranathan Mba @ Hareen Mba, the feedbacks will be very helpful to the company in ensuring the safety of road users.

“We greatly welcome public comments on the project (on our official Facebook page) as Christmas is just around the corner.

“The feedbacks are very important for us to solve the problems faced by road users (along the construction of the Pan Borneo Highway) as quickly as possible,” he pointed out at a road safety programme here.

He said the company would continue to monitor the road construction along the Pantu junction, Sri Aman to Skrang Scheme, Engkilili.

Hareedranathan added that Naim Gamuda would immediately repair any damaged road as well as erect warning signs and barriers at specific locations throughout the project areas.

In addition, he said, it had also formed an Emergency Response Team (ERT) that patrolled and assisted traffic control in the event of accidents.

Meanwhile, Sri Aman Resident Indit Bangai, who was also present at the event, urged road users to be more cautious as it was currently in poor condition.
