Five more locations under EMCO

KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) on Monday announced that the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) would be enforced at five locations in Sebauh, Tatau, Julau, Kanowit and Mukah.

“The EMCO will be enforced at Rumah (Rh) Robert Pengabang, Sebauh from June 13 until June 26,” it said in a statement on Monday (June 14). 

“It will be enforced at Rh Achun Imban, Nanga Kelebu in Tatau from June 13 until June 29 and at Rh Jalang, Nanga Bayu, Ulu Entabai, Julau from June 14 until June 30.” 

The committee added the EMCO would be enforced at Rh Sandai, Sg Mapai in Kanowit from June 16 until June 29 and at Rh Alat Mukan and Mukah Palm Oil Mill (MPOM) in Mukah from June 16 until June 29.

SDMC also announced the extension of the EMCO at three places in Bintulu, Kabong and Tanjung Manis.

“The EMCO will be extended at the Samalaju Lodge (Local Lodge & Foreign Lodge) Samalaju Industrial Park and PPR Bandaria Park in Bintulu from June 14 until June 20.

“It will also be extended at Kampung Darat Gerigat in Kabong   from June 14 until June 28.”

The committee added that in Tanjung Manis, the EMCO would be extended at 11 localities, namely Rh Mut Merom @ Bohom, Rh Sana Changgai, Rh Jimbun  Saging, Rh Bon Depa, Rh  Empading  Edi, Rh Jaapar  Anyut, Rh Jebat Talak, Rh Puso  Lunak, Rh Nyalau  Engkamat, Rh Noh Bin and Rh Damat  Enggie from June 15 until June 28.

It also announced the end of the EMCO at four localities in Bintulu, Sebauh, Tanjung Manis and Mukah.

The EMCO at Unggin Unjop, Batu 18, Jalan Bintulu-Miri in Bintulu ended on June 13 while the EMCO at Piasau Konkerit Shin Yang Camp, Simpang Labang in Sebauh ended on June 13.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at SK Stalun, Tanjung Manis and Rh Wun Ering, Bakerkong in Tanjung Manis and at Kampung Bunut in Mukah will end on Tuesday (June 15).
