MIRI: Five private medical healthcare institutions in this division will be involved in the national inoculation programme to help accelerate the vaccination drive.

These institutions will serve as vaccination centres, said minister in charge of the Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (MDDMC) Datuk Lee Khim Shin on Monday (May 24).

These private medical healthcare institutions are Columbia Asia Hospital Miri, Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) Miri, Dr Chiew clinic; Dynamic Clinic; and Lee Clinic (Dr Dorothy).

“Columbia Asia Hospital Miri will begin its inoculation drive on Tuesday while BMC and the three private clinics in June,” Lee added.

He thanked the private medical institutions for taking part in the vaccination programme in order to help accelerate the inoculation drive.

“The aim is to speed up the vaccination process in this division,” he explained.

Lee urged the people in Miri to register for the Covid-19 vaccines as soon as possible via the MySejahtera application.
