Five Unimas international students appointed as varsity’s ambassadors

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Five Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) international students have been appointed as Unimas ambassadors effective from 2022 to 2023.

According to its statement on Friday (Jan 28), the said appointment was an effort to introduce Unimas internationally by sharing the students’ own experiences while studying in Unimas.

Vice chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi handed over the appointment letters to them at Global Hub Unimas.

It further stated that the five international students appointed as Unimas ambassadors are from its postgraduate programme from different countries.

“Two of them are from the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts namely Ahmad Izzeldin Ahmed Mohamed from Sudan and Putri Khairiyanti from Pontianak, Kalimantan in Indonesia.

“Meanwhile, the other three students are from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology namely Mustafa Payendanik from Afghanistan, Ajibola Olaide Olawunmi from Nigeria, and Muhammad Ridho Febryansyah from Jakarta, Indonesia,” it added.
