KUCHING: Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received several reports of flash floods in Kota Samarahan.
Yesterday’s downpour affected Kampung Sungai Raya, Kampung Sungai Lingkau, Kampung Keniong Jaya, SK Lepong Emplas and SK Kedumpai.
However, Kuching, Sri Aman and Sibu were clear, said the department.
Water levels in Kota Samarahan were gradually decreasing while in other zones, the water levels had completely subsided.
No temporary flood evacuation centre was opened at this time.
