Flood not a hindrance for students

Continuous rainfall has caused the water level at SMK Tutoh Apoh to reach three feet.

MIRI: SMK Tutoh Apoh was reported to be flooded yesterday following continuous rainfall that occurred the day earlier.

Despite the water level reaching three-feet high as at 10am yesterday, the school session for Form Five students will proceed as usual.

According to Miri Fire and Rescue department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong, 44 Form Five students were affected — no casualties were reported.

The school has 183 students but since the reopening of schools on June 24, only students in Forms Five and Six are allowed to return
