MUKAH: Some 22 households in Kampung Judan here whose family members are on quarantine at Mukah Youth Camp here have received the food aid from Tellian State constituency Service Centre on Thursday (Dec 17).

Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo said the heads of the affected households were on quarantine because they were in close contact with a positive case recorded in Labuan previously.

“It is understood that so far after the first swab test on all those individuals on quarantine were found to be Covid-19 negative and we are grateful for that,” he said via WhatsApp yesterday.

Meanwhile, he added the food aid distribution process to the affected families was carried out smoothly with the cooperation of local organisations.

The organisations involved were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tellian branch Youth and Women, Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation (PBPM), Saberkas Tellian branch, MY Volunteers and Saberkas Jourdania unit.
