BELAGA: A total of 1,187 household heads (KIR) from nine longhouses in the Sungai Asap area received food aid under the Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance (BKSS) 6.0 package on Sunday (June 6).
According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon said the area has 20 longhouses comprising 2,253 KIR.
Speaking at the distribution of the food aid at Uma Baha (BRS) Koyan Apau, Sungai Asap here, he expressed his appreciation to the agencies involved in carrying out the distribution works.
He also reminded residents to always adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the authorities in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
