MUKAH: The Tellian state constituency service centre here is preparing food contribution for its constituents in some longhouses.
These longhouses are those in Dalat district who are affected by Covid-19 pandemic after a number of positive cases were reported in one of the longhouses.
It is learned that the contribution, in the form of food baskets would be handed over to the welfare department here, prior to subsequent distribution to the recipients.
The handover is expected to be carried out tomorrow.
Only the Welfare Department and other relevant departments and agencies were allowed to distribute the contribution, as part of the affected areas are currently within the perimeter of police roadblock, and also in compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
