Food rations delivered to flood victims.

MARUDI:  The Miri Welfare Department is reaching out to flood victims in Beluru and Tinjar, Baram by providing a total of 1,031 food packs on Saturday.

The food packs were distributed to eight longhouses, two primary schools and one health clinic within Baram.

These areas are Rumah Keyai Kiaw (47 packs); Rumah Anthony Kedit (85 packs);  Rumah Saba Bagus (eight packs); Rumah Paking Idoi (200 packs); Rumah Jau Bato (116 packs); Ulu Teru Health Clinic Klinik (37 packs); Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sungai Bong (23 packs); Rumah Aji Nawek (128 packs); Rumah Dennis Tija (260 packs); Rumah David Wen (87 packs); and Sekolah Kebangsaan Long Jegan (24 packs).

The food rations were delivered by land and river.

Flood victims received food packs delivered by Miri Welfare department in an operation carried out on Saturday.
