MUKAH: Food packs were distributed to folk currently undergoing home quarantine at various villages here on Tuesday.
The distribution was arranged by Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo’s Service Centre.
Tellian Service Centre officer Felix Pieng said 26 packs were distributed to Kampung Petanak, three to Kampung Tellian Laut, two each to Kampung Tellian Tengah and Kampung Penakub Hilir, and one each to Kampung Tellian Tradisi and Kampung Kuala Lama.
He added that on Saturday, food packs were distributed to Kampung Judan (24 packs), Kampung Penat (25) and one to Solar Green company (cleaner at Politeknik Mukah).
“There will be another round soon. We are currently gathering information on those who are home quarantined,” he said via WhatsApp.
He added that the next distribution could be this Saturday.
