MIRI: A 22 year-old Foodpanda rider sustained injuries on his body after he was hit by a car in Senadin late Saturday.
According to Miri Civil Defence officer Captain (PA) Usman Harto, the rider broke his left thigh and several parts of his body in the collision.
It was made to understand that the car had suddenly exited a junction before it rammed the rider.
Prior to the collision, the victim was on his way delivering food to his customers within the area.
“We received an emergency call on the incident at 5.19pm and upon arrival at the scene, the rider was found lying by the road shoulder,” said Usman.
The injured rider was later rushed to Miri Hospital for medical treatment.
