MIRI: A foreigner was detained while 16 others were slapped with compounds following a Covid-19 SOP check on entertainment outlets in Permyjaya here, Tuesday night.
Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah said the integrated operation was carried out between 9.55pm and 10.25pm to ensure that RMCO SOP was followed.
It is in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulation 2020.
ACP Lim said police were currently monitoring and conducting inspections to curb any possible spread of Covid-19.
