Foreigner found dead

PADAWAN: Police found an Indonesian man dead in front of a shop in Kota Sentosa on Sunday evening (July 12).

Padawan district deputy police chief DSP Lim Jaw Shyong said that police and medical personnel rushed to the scene after they were alerted on the incident at around 6.40pm.

The deceased identified as Abdullah Tamim, 37, was believed to have experienced an epilepsy attack as medical personnel found foam around his mouth.

Further inspection found that there were no signs of foul play nor were there any signs of injuries to the body.

Cash worth RM4,802 found in the deceased’s possession was handed over to the police.

The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, and the body is kept at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) forensic department while waiting to trace the next of kin.

The case is being classified as sudden death.
