SIBU: Four foreigners were among seven people arrested for vice activity at a massage parlour here.

The four women included a 31-year-old of Chinese national and three Filipinas aged between 25 and 31.

Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the police raided the centre located at Jalan Wong King Huo at 4.30pm on July 16 for suspected immoral activities.

He added that the 44-year-old business operator was also nabbed for employing another Chinese national, 31, without a working permit.

“We also picked up three customers from the centre as witnesses,” he said, adding that the suspects have been locked up for investigation.

Meanwhile, a local man, 22, was detained at the centre for his alleged involvement in selling illegal 4D. It is an offence under Section 4A (a) of the Common Gambling House Act 1953.

ACP Stanley said that the police had seized a business record book, a modem, a monitor, a CCTV recorder and cash amounting to RM4,381.
