LIMBANG: Form 4 and Form 5 students received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the Dewan Suarah immunisation centre here on Friday (Sept 10).
According to the Sarawak Information Department (JaPen), the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NCIP) for teenagers aged 16 and 17 began on Friday with students from SMK Seri Patiambun in the morning, followed by students from SMK Agama Limbang in the afternoon as well as students who attend school outside of Limbang but are now in the district.
“A total of 560 students were administered for their first dose today,” it said.
The department, through its official statement also stated SMK Kubong and SMK Medamit students are scheduled to receive their first jab on Saturday (Sept 11).
Meanwhile, students from SMK Limbang will be vaccinated in the morning session on Sunday (Sept 12), followed by teenagers aged 16 and 17 who have dropped out or do not attend school in the afternoon session.
