MIRI: The city former deputy Resident, Emang Oyo Emang had passed away today at the Miri Hospital.
The first daughter, Vered Angelique Emang, 41, reported that the late Emang suffered from a long illness and was admitted to the Miri Hospital on March 29.
His death was confirmed by the hospital at 1.50am. He died at the age of 65 and left behind six children.
Emang was also the district officer for Telang Usan before retiring in 2015 and as the former deputy Resident, Emang had made countless contributions to the development of Miri and Telang Usan.
His burial service will be held today at the BEM Memorial Park Lambir around 2pm.
