KUCHING: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) State Leadership Council has announced the appointment of four new branch coordinators appointed by its chairman Larry Sng.

Its Information and Communications chief Abun Sui Anyit in a statement on Sunday said the coordinators are Chow Ah Hong for Stampin Branch, Senior Wiliam Rade (Serian Branch), Mattson Attang Achun (Betong Branch) and Paul Kadang (Saratok Branch).

“PKR Sarawak would like to congratulate the newly appointed. They are to work together with the branch committee in the respective branches and also to organise their own activities,” he said.

He also said the number of former leaders who left was minimal compared to the loyal members that are still with the party.

“The membership of PKR Sarawak of about 40,000 previously has increased to 83,200 all over the state, while there are 727 membership applications pending approval,” he said.

Abun said with the appointment of the new coordinators and increasing number of PKR members, it is hoped that it would boost the spirit of the party members and coalition members in Pakatan Harapan (PH), Democratic Action Party (DAP), and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) to move forward, especially in preparation for the 12th state election or even the 15th parliamentary election.

“PKR urged all its members to be loyal to the party and unite with all current leaders at all levels to bring about change with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in Sarawak,” he said.
