KUCHING: Two persons were critically injured and two suffered injuries after a fight at Travilion area at 3.30 pm yesterday.
Injuries, especially wounds, included those inflicted with sharp objects. One of the victims had his ribs stabbed and internal organs exposed while another had stabs on his right thigh. The other two had head injuries while another had five stabs on his stomach.
Police received reports that four persons were brought to the Sarawak General Hospital for injuries with two seriously.
All the four smelled of alcohol. After receiving the reports, they rushed to the scene where the fighting took place and investigated. It was believed that the fighting was due to a misunderstanding and involved those under the influence of alcohol.
All the four were in their 30s. Police are also collecting CCTV data for further investigation.
