KUCHING: The glass door in the basement parking area of a shopping mall here was completely shattered after a car is said to have accidentally accelerated into it this morning.
Kuching police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah when contacted, confirmed that the accident happened around 9.30am.
“Prior to it, the 20-year-old female driver was parking her car in reverse into the parking space.
“However, she is believed to have entered the wrong gear and her car accelerated forward and crashed into the glass door,” he said.
No one, including the driver, sustained any injuries during the accident.
Ahsmon added that the lady had filed a traffic police report at noon today.
