MIRI: Free meals from McDonald’s were given to enforcement personnel manning roadblocks here during the movement control order (MCO) period, as a gesture of appreciation.

McDonald’s staff members arrived at the Pujut 4 roundabout here yesterday afternoon to deliver the food, before proceeding to two other locations.

According to one of the staff members, more than 20 paper bags containing food were given for one roadblock station.

Since the announcement of the MCO, police personnel have been working to man roadblocks to ensure the people comply with the order, following the surged of the Covid-19 cases in the country.
