KUCHING: Kuching Teck Choon Anti-Cancer Association will hold charity event to provide free medical consultation, treatment and medication at the Kuching Sentral from 9.00am to 4.00pm on 9 April, 2017.

The guests of honour at the event will be Minister of Local Government Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and former Head of State, Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin and wife, Datin Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, the asssociation revealed at a press conference held at Tan Kit Weng Chinese Physicians Specialist Centre here, yesterday.

This charity event’s co-organiser and co-organising units are the Federation of Chinese Medicine and Physicians Sarawak, the Federation of Sarawak Traditional Physicians and Complimentary Medicine, and Miri Traditional Chinese Physicians.

The organising chairman Prof Dato’ Sri Tan Kit Weng is sponsoring RM40,000 worth of medication.

The organisers have also invited Chinese Medicine practitioners from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Penang, Johor, Sabah, Miri, Sibu, Bintulu, Sarikei and Kuching to take part in the event.

Treatment to be provided includes internal and external surgeries, acupuncture, specialist, gynecology and orthopedic.

The physicians will also provide scraping, massage, pulse, bone, medical and other services for free.

This charity event is open to members of the public regardless race or status, and traditional medicine practitioners are invited to take part in the event.

Members of the public who need medical assistance or health consultation are encouraged to come and support the event.
