BINTULU: The front part of a truck was destroyed after it suddenly caught fire at Bintulu-Bakun Road here.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre received a call at 1.05pm yesterday and deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.
The firefighters took about an hour to get to the scene, which was 75km away.
By then, the front part of the 11-tonne truck had already been destroyed.
No one was injured in the incident and the cleanup operation ended at 2.59pm.
