KUCHING: Youths in Kampung Hijrah Bako were asked to make full use of the new futsal field there to play sports and hone their talents.

This would be good in avoiding social problems which are a waste of time, said Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni.

“I believe that all of us have talent and if properly honed, one can represent the state and country as well as bring up the name of Bako in the future,” he said.

The completion of the futsal field worth RM188,000 is a proof that the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government has fulfilled its promises and that it also cares about the people’s needs, said Hazland.

“Congratulations to the youths in Kampung Hijrah Bako who have a beautiful futsal field complete with lighting and toilet facilities,” he said.

According to his Facebook post on Monday (Oct 12), this was said when he officiated at the opening ceremony of the futsal field at Kampung Hijrah Bako recently.
