KUCHING: The Alumni Association of Dragon School, Kolej Tun Abdul Razak, and SMK Tun Abdul Razak is organising a fundraising dinner scheduled for Saturday (Nov 25).
The event will take place at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre (ACS) at Jalan Stampin here.
SMK Tun Abdul Razak in a statement said the primary objective of this fundraising initiative is to secure funds to revitalise the school’s ageing and deteriorating parking facilities.
Additionally, the funds raised will be dedicated to assisting underprivileged students, organising motivation courses for students preparing for public examinations, and supporting various other enriching activities within the school.
“We are calling on former students from the days of Dragon School and Kolej Tun Abdul Razak until the current SMK Tun Abdul Razak to support this noble cause.
“Inform your former schoolmates and classmates about this fund-raising dinner, which promises a grand occasion where we get to meet a long-lost friend and reconnect,” it said.
The event will also be enriched by the participation of one of the region’s most popular and versatile local bands, ensuring entertainment for all attendees.
“For those who wish to showcase their hidden talents, this will be the perfect night to do so,” the statement added.
