MUKAH: Preparations for the launch of Sungai Tellian floating market here on Jan 2 next year are going well.
A meeting on the coordination of the working committee was held at Kampung Tellian Tengah multi-purpose hall on Wednesday.
It was attended by representatives from government departments and agencies, non-governmental organisations and others.
Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo, who is also patron of the working committee, chaired the meeting.
He and those who attended the meeting then visited the ceremony site at Jalan Tellian near Sungai Tellian.
The floating market programme is linked to MukahXtra, a new development initiative introduced in Tellian constituency recently.
MukahXtra has seven components namely, XtraCulture, XtraTourism, XtraCreative, XtraYouth, XtraEconomy, XtraLocal and XtraSafe.
