BALINGIAN: The Persatuan Generasi Melanau Balingian is inviting those interested to take part in the first edition of the Balingian Giant Freshwater Prawn competition.
The competition organised by the association will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the riverbank, Balingian town.
A participation fee of RM60 per person will be charged and each participant is only eligible to use one rod.
The first winner will receive a cash prize of RM1,000, second place (RM500), third place (RM300), fourth place (RM200), fifth place (RM100).
