SEREMBAN: The media can be partners with the government in taking the country and state to a new development platform, said Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun.
He said close cooperation and understanding between the two would help the people understand better the government’s efforts which benefit them.
“When there are good relations (between government and media), the government can give clear and correct explanations through the media so that the people can understand any problems that may arise,” he said at the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar dinner event here on Monday.
At the event which was also attended by Negeri Sembilan State Assembly Speaker Zulkefly Mohd Omar, State Secretary Razali Ab Malik and Negeri Sembilan state broadcasting director Zainal Abidin Asri Abd Wahid, Aminuddin presented a RM10,000-cheque to the state Broadcasting Department. – Bernama
