KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) resounding success in the last state election has galvanised the party’s machinery as it prepares for the pitch for votes in the 15th general election.

“This motivation is what we need to bring to every corner of the state to promote GPS as the best government not only in leading Sarawak but also being part of the government that will form the Federal Government after GE15,” said Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Chief Miro Simuh.

“This is the time for us to show the spirit of love for Sarawak that exists within us and translate it in this GE15 by ensuring GPS wins big in all 31 seats that we are contesting.”

He was speaking at the launching of the GPS Youth Machinery at Stadium Perpaduan on Today (Oct 29).

In stating that the stadium was filled by over 2,000 GPS supporters from the youth, women, and senior wings, he applauded the fighting spirit of the supporters and their readiness in facing GE15.

“We need to always keep up and bring this spirit with us to make sure each machinery in each state legislative assembly and parliament is ready.

“Let us be soldiers who ensure the GPS’ victory is absolute in all 31 seats.

“I hope the mandate from the GPS chairman on the readiness of our youth can be spread out to each of your respective areas to be practiced and implemented in the 14 days of the election campaign.

“Let us witness the result of our hard work together on the night of Nov 19,” he said.
