KUCHING: Women in the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition are committed to helping win the coming 15th general election (GE15).

“We must make sure that GPS win and we need to win in emphatic fashion in the coming GE15. This is our mission,” Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, who is the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women chief, said.

She was speaking to the media after handing over welfare aid to mothers here on Monday (Oct 31).

“Our common goal is unity, which is important regardless of who’s name is being nominated, whether under PBB, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), Parti Demokratik Progresif (PDP) and Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP).

“What is important is the candidates competing under the GPS platform continue to win,” the Dalat assemblywoman added.
