KUCHING: About 80 less fortunate families from Kuching City South Council (MBKS) municipality received donations totalling RM8,000 from Great Vision Vantage Sdn Bhd Kuching.
Great Vision Vantage Kuching’s representative handed over the fund to MBKS’s zone councillors.
The zone councillors would distribute the fund to recipients from Kampung Stutong Baru, Kampung Stampin Baru, Kampung Lubok Buan, Kampung Tabuan Melayu, Kampung Sungai Laru, Kampung Tabuan Dani & Dayak, Kampung Selipar Putus, Kampung Tabuan Tengah, Kampung Tabuan Hilir and Kampung Tabuan Melayu Cemerlang.
Present to witnessed the handover ceremony was MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng at the council’s lobby today.
Wee extended his gratitude to the company for their generosity that they had shown towards the less fortunate community in MBKS area.
“This is one the great effort to help the needy as we believed this would be able to lessen the burden during this difficult time,” he said.
Besides that, the company had also paid for the sterilisation activity which was carried out at Sarawak Buddhist Association Kindergarten at the association premise.
