MIRI: A section of Jalan North Yu Seng—from the traffic light junction in Jalan Merbau (near Ming Cafe) to the Jalan Persekutuan junction—will be temporarily closed on July 16 for Car Free Day.
The Miri City Council (MCC) said the closure would start from 6am to 10am.
MCC would like to remind the public to plan ahead owing to the half-road closure and use alternative routes to reach their destinations.
Apart from stationing traffic wardens in the area, traffic diversion signs will also be put up to facilitate a smooth Car Free Day.
