KUCHING: Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF), which takes place from June 17 until tomorrow, is being held for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visitors from all over Malaysia and the world came to Kuching for three days of music and dance.

Many tourists are happy that the festival has finally returned.

This is the second time I am attending this festival since 2019. I am happy my friends and I managed to come back here after all these years. I don’t have any specific plan. I’m just looking for fun.

I lived in Malaysia from 2001 to 2005. I actually came to the festival from 2001 to 2005. I’ve been to this festival four to five times. I’m very excited to be here, I’m looking to the musicians and want to feel the vibes of this festival. I came here alone.

This is my first time here. I came to Malaysia five weeks ago and found out about this festival a week or two before. I love music festivals and have been to several kinds of music festivals in Europe. This is my first music festival outside Europe. For me, it is a new experience. I’m here with a couple of friends I just met.

This is the fourth time I’m attending this festival with my friends. I last attended it way back in 2019. I immediately booked the tickets when I found out about the return of the festival. There will be another group of friends that will be here tomorrow.
