KUCHING: Borneo Convention Centre Kuching’s (BCCK) The Raintree Restaurant launched its exquisite Christmas and New Year’s Eve menus, promising an unparalleled dining experience to welcome the joyous celebration.
A three-course Christmas menu that is available from Dec 1 to 30 (except for Dec 24, 25 and 31) offers Smoked Duck Pate and Spinach Salad as the appetiser, Chicken Ballotine or Pan Seared Seabass Fish (main course), along with the mouth-watering dessert Sticky Toffee Pudding with Salted Caramel Sauce and Peanut Butter Ice Cream. Price for the Christmas Set Menu is RM65 nett.
“Our Merry Dinner Buffet on Dec 24 and Holiday Brunch Buffet on Dec 25 is priced at RM100 nett per adult and RM55 nett per child if purchased online at www.bcck.org.my whereas walk-in prices are RM120 nett per adult and RM55 nett.
“From delectable starters that tease the palate to succulent main courses that embody the spirit of the season, our buffet spread is a gastronomic journey through the magic of the holidays,” Raintree said in a press release.
For Dec 31, diners can choose to usher in the new year at the restaurant with its Celebration Buffet, priced at only RM100 nett per adult through online bookings and RM120 nett for walk-ins, and children aged from five to 12 years will get to pay only RM55 nett for both online and walk-in.
For those who would like a hassle-free celebration, the Christmas desserts and Christmas Roast are available for takeaway – a whole roasted turkey is available at RM488 nett and Beef Wellington with Yorkshire Pudding and Rosemary Jus is available at RM388.
Christmas dessert orders are available for takeaway, from the restaurant’s Christmas Stollen at RM38 nett and Christmas Pudding at RM38 nett. All Christmas goodies and Christmas Roast require two days of advanced booking.
