KUALA LUMPUR: Homegrown coffee producer De’ Armani Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd targets to sell 90 per cent of the production of its newly launched Havenly Taste Premium Musang King Durian Coffee to foreign markets.
Founder Datuk Azizulrahman Mohd Hussain said the research and development efforts undertaken by the company over an eight-month period had found that demand for the product from the international market was high.
Havenly Taste Premium Musang King Durian Coffee is the first Durian King pre-mixed instant coffee in Malaysia, which uses premium grade Musang King durian for sale in both local and foreign markets.
“Musang King durian is not only well known for its delicious taste but it also has health benefits such as boosting the blood circulation and improving the digestive system,” he said during the launch of the coffee product in conjunction with Malaysia International Halal Showcase (Mihas) 2019 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre here, yesterday.
Also present was product ambassador, Fairuz Misran.
On its future plans, Azizulrahman said the company, which currently sells the pre-mixed coffee on renowned shopping sites such as Lazada and Shopee, would start marketing the product to neighbouring countries such as Singapore and Brunei soon.- AFP
